Gordon and Sally Hammond

are a freelance writer and photographer team who specialise in food and travel.

Sally is a food and travel writer, and accuses herself of being a 'travel junkie', simply writing to support her habit. When in Sydney she also reports on local restaurants, eats out more than she should, and collaborates on articles and guidebooks with Gordon. She has written several cookbooks, a bunch of guides and directories, and a travelogues: Just Enough French, Just a Little Italian, Pardon My French, Playing Chopsticks, Bamboo, Fabulous Food Finds and the Australian Regional Food Guide Cook Book. If she is not glued to her office chair in front of the computer, she may be found lounging around airports, looking hopefully at the pointy end of the airplane, taking notes, and thinking about possible of ways to get an upgrade – next time. She has also served as Secretary of the Australian Society of Travel Writers for a number of years.
