Over the past 11 years we have we have visited every region throughout Australia as we researched regional food for the two editions of the Australian Regional Food Guide, and now, for this web site. During our travels we have been privileged to meet with thousands of remarkable people who are doing amazing things. This site is a tribute to their vision and industry.
The diaries are a personal record of these people and places. Sally has added her thoughts and memories with the written word, and Gordon who always seems to have a camera on hand, has contributed with a an abundance of images which bring colour and life to their combined travels and research. We invite you to join us as we share out unique impressions of regional Australia. Like most diaries, they are not perfect and not complete. There will always be more to add as we find time to tidy up those rough notes made from earlier trips and as we hit the road again in the future.
