What an apt and memorable name for this business, begun in January 2000, which helps create great memories for visitors to the Gold Coast Hinterland Wine Country and the beautiful Scenic Rim of South East Queensland.

Judi and Peter Jaques are both from servicing areas. Judi is a retired registered nurse and Peter had a 20-year Australian Navy career, then 15 years in the Queensland Health Industry. They both have a great perception for people’s needs, their likes and dislikes, and, in this case, their tastes of the different wines.

There are currently 12 wineries, vineyards and cellar doors in the Gold Coast Hinterland wine country and five places in the Scenic Rim area including, Harrisville, Purga and Warrego.

The original idea was to pick people up from their holiday accommodation on Tamborine Mountain and drive them to the vineyards to taste the local wines and enjoy the pleasures of the foods in one of the local winery restaurants and this has remained one of the most popular aspects of this service.

“We drive people to drink,” the Jaques say proudly, “and they love it!”
