Park Corner in the centre of Bendigo, overlooking Rosalind Park has been the address of the city's most renowned restaurants for 35 years. Originally the location of the famed country Victorian award-winning restaurant the “Copper Pot”, the building now houses Bazzani ITALIANO. The stunning restaurant has an outdoor courtyard and versatile lounge area that provides an inviting setting for visitors to dine indoors or in relaxed al fresco cafe atmosphere. Bazzani pioneered outdoor dining as an integral part of life in Bendigo.

Luigi and Athalie Bazzani opened their first restaurant the Copper Pot in 1970.  Luigi reopened the Park Corner address as Ristorante BAZZANI in 1995, managed by son Andreas.   Kathie Bolitho joined the team in 1996 as general manager, followed by executive chef Brendan Tuddenham in 2001.  Under the management team Kathie and Brendan, BAZZANI was the recipient of numerous industry awards, stated in The Age Good Food Guide 2004 as "...the food is this majestic town's trump card.."

In November 2003 Brendan & Kathie purchased the restaurant lease, focussed on continuing the success of the existing reputation with the current mix of semi fine dining and relaxed eating with authentic and innovative Italian cuisine. The Age Good Food Guide 2007 states “….Bazzani has now become a true Bendigo institution..”.
