Makes and sells: Jams, quince paste, preserved lemons and olives. The produce changes seasonally and the Butter Factory also sells other local producers’ wares.

Extras: The historic building was built in 1935 and ceased butter production in 1966. There is a wood fire for cosy winters and an art Gallery where local artists display their work. The balcony has magnificent views of Mt Buffalo and in winter diners can see the snow on Mt Hotham and at Falls Creek.
Open: Breakfast and lunch Sunday to Tuesday, Friday, Saturday; dinner Sunday and Wednesday.
Located on the Great Alpine Road as you leave Myrtleford heading towards Bright.
