Three years ago, to provide some extra income during the drought, Bev Fisher came up with the ideas for this unique business. Now she and her husband, Noel, produce marmalades and also citrus salts made with chemical-free dried citrus peel and natural dryland salt and exotic herbs and spices. The products are all-natural, chemical-free, homegrown and handmade, and bottled on the premises. They are sold locally and throughout the state under the Tranquil Hills label.
Locally they can be found at Cobram and Yarrawonga Mulwala Visitor Centres, as well as Albury, Rutherglen and Tocumwal Farmers Markets. The company’s Orchard-plus Salt comes from Pyramid Hill and most spices used are sourced from Australian companies.
Open: 2pm to 5 pm, daily
DIRECTIONS: 5 km from Cobram turn off the Murray Valley Highway into Wyatt Road and follow the signs.
