Black Duck Gourmet Pantry

A considered business opportunity was the reason Black Duck Pantry owners began their business five years ago in Albany, one of WA’s major tourist towns. “It seemed a good idea for a speciality shop in our area,” they say, “ and excellent as a tourist icon as we work with the tourist centre. It has been something unique for this area and well received.”

Over the years Black Duck has become a rich Gourmet Pantry specializing in local and Great Southern products of Albany  and Western Australia with gift hampers posted around Australia. The centrally located shopfront stocks local olive oils, Black Duck dukkah, jams, chutneys, dressings, hand made chocolates from Chokeby Road, spices, blueberry products and strawberry jams from a local farm. There are  yabbies, pickled grapes, Margaret River Yahava coffee, truffle oil, and toffees too, as well as olive oil and goats milk soaps. “An endless selection,” the owners say in summary.

Open to Public: 8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday; Saturday 8.30am to 3.30pm.
