News for Chocoholics: Haigh’s Chocolates (p 197) was founded in 1915 and still uses traditional manufacturing methods. Two new products: Haigh’s Gourmet Collection 70% Cocoa solid dark chocolate, made from a blend of premium South American and African beans resulting in a smooth, rich and bitter chocolate with an almost citrus-zesty finish. The other new product is the Spiced Chocolate Fruit Pudding, combining the skills of three South Australian icons: Haigh’s Chocolates, Coopers Brewery (using the stout) and Baylies of Strathalbyn who prepare and cook them.
