Floods again inundate large areas

GwydirThe country's thoughts are with all those in  rural areas in NSW and Queensland who are still battling heavy flooding. We hope that those with crops about to harvest, or other produce or stock, will be spared too much bad effects. While rain is a natural and important part of the growing cycle for agriculture, it is tragic when floods wipe out so much of farmers' hard work during the rest of the year, and threaten their homes and lives as well.

Pictured at right: Gwydir Grove Olive Grove - An aerial shot of house and shed. As you can see water entered the oil shed - about 1/2 m. Cartons damaged and so much mud everywhere.
