pudding_ladyUpdate from Newcastle’s Pudding Lady.

From simple beginnings manufacturing Christmas puddings, the business has expanded significantly over the last 5 years to provide the market with top quality Christmas cakes and Christmas shortbreads and biscuits.  With an excellent track record in supply and a very loyal customer base who appreciate the best quality in gourmet food, the company has now released a range of farm style gourmet products under the brand Hill & River.

The first products to be released are relishes, mustards, jams and fruit butters in family sizes and mini offering for the hamper market and the range can be viewed at www.hillandriver.com.au

To reflect the broader offerings, the company has also undergone a change in name and is now called Hunter Heritage Gourmet Foods Pty Ltd.  Director Ann Cummings says, “The new name just says so much more about how we see ourselves and our incredibly positive future.   We have been making premium food for 30 years and I believe we have an enviable reputation for quality and consistency.  Expanding our ranges, especially in the early part of the year, allows us to continue to innovate and bring exciting products to our customers.  Our customer base has the expectation the each year we will have new offerings for them to interest their own customers as well as being totally consistent with our seasonal Christmas ranges of puddings, Christmas cakes, sauces and shortbreads.”
