Description

The Eurobodalla Slow Food Celebration is now known as the Southeast HARVEST Regional Food Festival and celebrates the diversity and quality of food produced in the south eastern shires of New South Wales.

The next event will be a celebration of Autumn produce, to be held in Moruya on Saturday 17 March 2012, alongside the popular Moruya Country Markets on the banks of the Moruya River.

The festival is held every 16 months to enable growers and guest demonstrators to showcase produce from each season. A huge array of interactive stalls are planned for the Saturday, featuring local produce and locally made delicacies, as well as displays promoting more sustainable living and activities for children of all ages.

At the heart of the festival, the main Southeast HARVEST marquee is where a packed program of talks and demonstrations will take place. Participation in any of the marquee activities is free for event ticket holders and these sessions always attract large crowds.

For more information, visit the Southeast HARVEST website.

Home

Welcome to the Southeast HARVEST regional food festival, where we celebrate the diversity and quality of food produced in the south eastern shires of New South Wales.

We are very proud to once again benefit from the generous support of our Premium Supporter Eurobodalla Toyota and our other major supporters who make this event possible.

Previously known as the Eurobodalla Slow Food Celebration, the event is now conducted under the auspices of Sustainable Agriculture & Gardening Eurobodalla and has grown to encompass the broader region of south eastern New South Wales.

The festival is held in Moruya every 16 months to enable us to showcase produce from all the seasons. The next event will be held on 16-17 March 2012 with a very exciting program already taking shape.

Jackie FrenchWe are also fortunate to be supported by our patron Jackie French, prolific author and erudite speaker, who resides in the nearby Araluen valley. Jackie is passionate about growing food and living with purpose. Her enthusiasm for life is infectious and we are grateful for her patronage.
