Port Macquarie region's annual food and wine festival has it all on a plate.

From October 5-29, 2011, the Holiday Coast Credit Union Tastings of the Hastings, celebrates the journey of local produce from paddock to plate.

Fantastic new events for 2011 include a cooking demonstration from MasterChef 's Justine Schofield at the main event, the Holiday Coast Credit Union Tastings of the Hastings Food and Wine Festival; 'Breakfast in the beds' at Near River Produce; 'High Tea on the Hastings' outside new Zebu Bar and Grill; a 'Drumming workshop and Traditional Navajo Dinner' at the Amber Healing Farm and 'Brunch on the Beach' at Bonny Hills and Lighthouse Beach.

The main event on Sunday 23 October will feature more than 70 food and wine exhibitors, cooking demonstrations and family entertainment. Attended by more than 8000 patrons, the event features a dedicated 'Paddock to Plate' arena and is held at the Port Macquarie Race Course from 10.00am to 3.00pm.
